Angamaly is a town, municipality, 30 km north of the center of  Kochi in Kerala. The Sree Lakshmana Perumal Temple being a holy Divya Desam from complete 108, has been referred in verses of the ancient Tamil Dravida Vedam, which SriVaishnava Always had sung. It has been sung in Thirumangai Azhwar and Nammalvar.
